Parent Involvement

Benson Middle School utilizes parent volunteers whenever they are available.  The varied talent and experiences of parents can lend a great deal to the school in such areas as follows:

                                a.             Tutoring

                                b.             Assisting in the Library

                                c.             Aiding the Nurse

                                d.             Working in the office

                                e.             Preparing special materials

                                f.             Sharing experience and/or skills

                                g.             Arranging and/or chaperoning field trips

                                h.             Homeroom Parent

State law and District policy require those volunteers be security checked.  You can be fingerprinted at District expense by calling the district office at (520) 720-6700.  If you can help in the above areas, and would like to devote a little time to helping at school, contact the receptionist.  When you volunteer,
please sign in at the office so that your volunteer hours can be logged and you can pick up your volunteer badge.
