On Law Day, at the Cochise County Court House, Honorable James L. Conlogue recognized ten amazing students for their work.  Five of the ten students came from Benson Unified School District. The Primary School students (Kindergarten- 5th grade) had to draw a poster on what America would be like if we had no courts. Bailey Griffith won first place and Marley Rose Nixon won second place from Benson Primary School.

Middle school students (6th -8thgrade) had to write an essay on what America would be like without courts. Isabelle Smalley won first place in the Middle School.
High school students (9th – 12th grade) also had to write an essay on what America would be like without courts. Shelby Brittain won first place and Allison Rogers won second place. All of the Benson student’s work was amazing.

After everyone explained their pictures or read their essays, honorable Wallace R. Hoggatt gave his speech. To end the ceremony the Bisbee School Band played as we exited the ceremony. Refreshments were served to participants and guests.
